About the Artist

Born and raised in Southern California Victoria fell in love with the outdoors. Memories of hiking, camping in the mountains, deserts and beaches of California remain imprinted in her mind. She found her passion while earning her Bachelors of Fine Art in Illustration at California State University, Long beach.  While attending art school Victoria developed a broad visual vocabulary and was exposed to a wide spectrum of ideas. It was not until she applied these fundamentals with the adventure of the outdoors that she truly learned to paint.  Her paintings depict the places she loves and are deeply connected to her experiences there. Many pieces are created outdoors on location or studies are brought back to the studio for her to expand on. She finds herself captivated by the ebb and flow of the ocean, the stretching shadows and the golden sunlight that California has to offer. Victoria currently lives in Los Angeles as a full-time artist and continues developing her work.
